Greetings from LA this is the don on his way back from Dignity Park stadium home of the LA Galaxy.
Fiji played some fantastic Rugby today but unfortunately came up short in the final against the Blitz Bokke. After coming through a tough pool on Day one where they disposed easily of South Korea 45-7 they took on France who showed good form and matched until we went into another gear and beat them 33-28 then took on Argentina and there was no repeat of the Latin Americans beating us like in Hamilton pool as the boys turned went into overdrive to win 38-14 and set up Quarter final with England. England proved no match in a hard first half England looked strong but a few shows of Improvised genius by the team took is to a great win 26-5. Then Australia in the Semi who took an early lead but once the boys took control they never looked like being beaten with Fiji winning 43-7 playing some great exciting rugby 🏉 this set up another Final against our old nemesis South Africa at 24-12 with two minutes left Fiji would have beaten most teams but Blitz Bokke always are dangerous and in a game that reminded me of Singapore final last year the Blittz Bokke defeated Fiji to take LA title.
A little disappointed I was but not angry as the boys played brilliant rugby 🏉 and are showing better form than the first two legs, Yaca the bear met a few of the Fans including South Bay Davui and the Viti Dolls. 'The Don' and Yaca will see you in Vancouver next week
